Story:

Lone Mountain ranch, is the story about a school bus load of angry unruly teens with parents in prison, to learn how God loves them, having faith, giving forgiveness, finding hope and copping with life with a parent incarcerated. As camp continues, these campers will find themselves in great danger wondering how or even if they will be rescued, before their bus blows up, in this life-or-death ordeal, action packed, educational, pulse pounding film.

Lone Mountain is already an award winning film. Lone Mountain has received three high outstanding awards from big prestigious film organizations. The 2015 top (50) fifty Simi finalist in the Kairos screenplay contest, received the Dove Foundation seal of approval and fourth place in the top ten (10) finalist in the 2016 Kairos screenplay contest, all with high honers with a placement in the 11th annual Movie guide announcement.

What are we doing?

We are trying to raise enough money to begin production on this featured film, titled “Lone Mountain.” We would like to begin production this summer In 2024 to be filmed in the mountains of Georgia. When we reach our financial goal of $100,000.00 dollars, This will help us greatly to complete the rest of the budget. You can contribute Individually, your business or organization. Businesses have their tax year end budgets also. A good project to contribute to for a business write off.

The funds we raise from this fundraiser, will bring a wider much needed awareness, to the problem that children face when their parent(s) have been incarcerated, and the emotional, mental and spiritual battle they now have been placed under.

Is my pledge contribution amount publicly displayed?

Yes, but only the amount of the contribution, not who made it, unless you want it to be known. However, you are welcome to make the contribution as anonymous, and post a comment should you wish. If you feel the goal is large and you can only make a small contribution, you should never feel it’s not enough. Having a parent(s) incarcerated is devastating to a child and are the most forgotten about. Most will turn to drugs, crime, exploded to sex, become runaways, join gangs for support, drop out of school and wind up in prison. With your help, we know Lone Mountain will bring this to light.

If I contribute funding, when can I redeem the incentive(s)?

Being that your contribution(s) are tax deductible, and the fundraiser is completed, you will redeem your incentives, at the time you receive your yearly tax returns. The rewards redeeming is posted with each reward.

What if I don’t want the incentive, I just want to contribute to the project?

If you don’t want to get the tax deduction, then you don’t have to file the tax deduction for your contribution and can just gift us the contribution. You don’t have to report the contribution on your tax filing, or the time of each reward posting.

If you are an organization that supports/helps children with incarcerated parents, and you reach out to your followers on your social media platforms to have them contribute to this campaign, we will put your organization in the credits of the movie. Just email us and give us the link to your profile(s). 

Can we exceed the total goal?

YES!! It would be awesome if we could reach more than our goal. We certainly would be able to make a better movie if we could achieve our goal and more. What a blessing that would be before the deadline!! Being that we are just starting in pre-production, this will only be the beginning of the journey with this film. Believe me, we have set our goal low and would love to see it exceed that and get more of this project film done. I would be going to contribute now!

I have already contributed, but want to contribute more, can I do that?

Absolutely!! There are others who have come back to our campaign to increase their contribution. Just come back to this campaign and make another pledge as you wish. We are still highly grateful and you will get another tax deduction.

Can I gift a contribution?

YES, YES, YES!! That is most admirable of you to do!! Still the same, you will automatically receive a tax deduction for any contribution you wish to make. However, should any individual make an outright $20,000.00 dollar donation, we will have them at the world premiere, all expenses paid. Travel to and from, the event meals with a vip place at the theater. Have your picture taken with the cast and walk the red carpet with a cast member.

What happens if the money isn’t raised in time?

The funds that are raised are kept in the crowdfunding account by the crowdfunding account. At that point, we can chose to restart the campaign again and extend the time frame. That’s why it’s so important to fulfill the goal before time is gone. That’s why it’s so important that you, your friends and family go and contribute to this project now where you are a big part of this team. You will also see your name in the end credits of the movie under Thank You!!

Can They Be Found And Rescued In Time? Who Will Survive!!!

Who does the money go to?

Every penny, nickel and dime goes directly to the “Lone Mountain” budget, that pays for websites, attorney fees, equipment rentals, filing paperwork, scouting location for filming, transportation, permits, gas for travel, motel and meals, the crew, and the world premiere, among other expenses.

I am not from the United States, can I still contribute to this project?

Yes, by all means you can contribute from where you are. You can contribute from anywhere. Think about the children! Maybe yours.
